The Opportunity 

As the Billing and Premium Administrator, you will join the Collections department, playing a key role in supporting the premium collection process and ensuring accurate, timely processing of customer payments. The Billing and Premium Administrator contributes to the effective management of premium inflows, reliable financial records, and high‑quality service to customers and internal stakeholders. The Billing and Premium Administrator vacancy is not a debt chasing role. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the premium collection process using relevant internal systems (e.g. on-site payments, direct debit, bank transfers).
  • Record and update premium payments accurately in internal systems.
  • Receive payments and prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Maintain customer account records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on pending and overdue payments and respond to customer and internal queries related to premium payments.
  • Perform journals and support voucher and payment reconciliations.
  • Carry out day-to-day administrative tasks, including maintaining files and documentation.
  • Prepare, process, and submit regular and ad hoc reports on premium payment status (e.g. unpaid, pending, overdue).
  • Participate in departmental improvements and cross-functional initiatives, as required.

 

Required Qualifications 

 

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (administration / accounts etc)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to handle multiple requests and changing priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and resilient approach to work.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience gained from within the Insurance or Brokerage industry.
