メットライフ・インベストメント・マネジメント株式会社（以下「MIM Japan」）は、投資助言・代理業、投資運用業及び第二種金融商品取引業を営む者として金融商品取引法に従って登録されている金融商品取引業者です（登録番号：関東財務局長（金商）2414号）。また、一般社団法人日本投資顧問業協会及び一般社団法人第二種金融商品取引業協会の正会員です。MIM Japanは金商法に基づく登録投資一任業者として投資運用サービスを提供するとともに、金商法に基づきMetLife Investment Management（以下「MIM」）の外国投資運用会社に、その投資権限の一部を再委託しています。MIMは、世界有数の金融サービス企業であるMetLife, Inc.の機関投資家向け資産運用事業です。

<チームおよび候補者の役割>

調査部の業務は、MIMが受託する債券運用資産の内、クレジット関連投資について、投資推奨を、世界中のポートフォリオマネージャー(PM)やトレーダーに共有することです。具体的には、債券発行体及び個別債券、又はセクターに関して、クレジットのファンダメンタル分析とクレジット・スプレッドの相対価値分析を行い、分析に基づく投資推奨を、タイムリーに、PMやトレーダーに提供します。当部の各アナリストは平均50社程度の日本企業を担当します。当部では、円貨建債券だけでなく、日本企業が発行する外貨建債券（主に米ドル建）に関しても、投資推奨を行います。

候補者の直接のレポーティング・ラインは、東京のシニア・ディレクター（調査部長）となります。一方、候補者は、ご自身の担当するセクターと関係の深い、グローバル・セクター・チームにも所属し、当該セクターのヘッド（マネジング・ディレクター）にも、同時にレポートします。候補者は、東京でのオンザジョブ トレーニングに加え、海外のアナリストやPMとも緊密にコミュニケーションをとることができます。MIMには、Public Fixed Incomeだけで55名のクレジット・アナリスト（ソブリン及びサステナビリティ・アナリストを含む）が在籍しており、様々な知識の吸収や、経験を積むことが可能となります。

• 国内事業会社、金融機関等が発行する債券の信用力分析及び投資価値分析

• PMやトレーダーへの新規投資案件の投資推奨

• 保有銘柄の信用力モニタリング及び銘柄入替提案

＜必須ビジネス経験および技術スキル＞

■必須項目

• 3年程度の株式又はクレジット・アナリストの経験。又は 会計事務所での３年程度の経験

• 企業の信用力分析のスキル

• 日本語：ネイティブ、英語：TOEIC860点以上、または同等の英語力

• ビジネスアプリケーション（Microsoft Office）を活用した業務経験及び情報ベンダー端末（Bloomberg等）の使用経験

• チームワークを重視し、かつ責任感を持っていること。また、高度の専門性を身に着けることを重視し、何事にも好奇心を持って、業務に取り組むマインド

■推奨項目：

• 日本の債券及びクレジット市場についての知識。クレジット・スプレッド分析に基づく投資推奨の経験

JOB DESCRIPTION

MetLife Investment Management Japan, Ltd. (“MIM Japan”) is a registered Financial Instruments Business Operator (“FIBO”) conducting Investment Advisory Business, Investment Management Business and Type II Financial Instruments Business under the registration entry “Director General of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau (Financial Instruments Business Operator) No. 2414” pursuant to the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of Japan (“FIEA”), and a regular member of the Japan Investment Advisers Association and the Type II Financial Instruments Firms Association of Japan. In its capacity as a discretionary investment manager registered under the FIEA, MIM Japan provides investment management services and also sub-delegates a part of its investment management authority to other foreign investment management entities within MetLife Investment Management (“MIM”) in accordance with the FIEA. MIM is the institutional asset management business of MetLife, Inc., one of the world’s leading financial services companies.

<Role Value Proposition>

MIM’s credit research analysts provide credit coverage, commentary and investment recommendations based on fundamental and relative value analysis, working with portfolio managers and traders around the globe as part of the investment process for client portfolios. An analyst generally covers 50+ individual Japanese credits, along with sector trends, for JPY denominated bonds, as well as other currencies (mainly USD).

The associate role will report directly to a Senior Director research analyst in the Tokyo office and will also report to a Global Sector Lead (located in US/UK) as a matrix manager. The candidate will benefit from on-the-job training in Tokyo, where there are four experienced credit analysts, as well as interaction and collaboration with overseas analysts and investment team members. MIM has 55 public credit analysts globally covering corporate, sovereign, municipal and sustainability sectors of the market.

<Key Responsibilities>

• Analyze credit fundamentals and valuation on Japanese corporate bond issuers

• Make investment recommendations on new-issue and secondary-market bonds, with presentation to domestic and overseas portfolio managers and traders

• Regular monitoring of portfolio holdings, as well as new investment idea generation

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

<Required>

• Worked as a credit/equity analyst or accounting firm for at least 3 years

• Analytical skill on credit fundamentals

• Japanese: Native, English: TOEIC 860 ~ equivalent

• Good command of business applications (Microsoft Office) and information vender terminals (Bloomberg)

• Team oriented and strong sense of professionalism, responsibility and curiosity

<Preferable>

• Knowledge of the Japanese public bond and credit market, with experience in relative value analysis

• Investment experience in other types of financial products such as structured finance, public equities or foreign bonds

• Business level English language skills

• Reports to: Senior Director, Research Dept (Direct Manager) and Managing Director at MIM (Matrix Manager)

• Stakeholders: CIO, traders, portfolio managers, research analysts, and clients
