The Opportunity 

Pricing Senior Underwriting Specialist is responsible to make risk analysis and pricing of the Group Life, Personal Accident Insurances and Group Complementary Health Insurance’s proposals depending on the Global Underwriting Guideline and the Pricing models, to evaluate risk and to price them in accordance with the competitive market conditions.

 

How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • To get in contact with Regional Office, Home Office and Reinsurance Companies in cases which exceed the Underwriting/Pricing authority to request their review and approval,
  • To follow up the Global Underwriting process and Sales process as per the Globel Underwriting Guidelines.
  • To perform studies on pricing models, to carry out studies in coordination with the Product Team in the Regional Office and Local Office.
  • Writing quotes and negotiating the terms with the Local Sales Team.
  • To work closely with the local claims unit and  the local operation unit.
  • Preparing insurance policy terms and conditions
  • Reporting to Home Office of groups that fall into the Non Standard Risk Groups signed locally.
  • Risk management in accordance with the rules determined by the company,
  • Risk monitoring and management with operational and other units,
  • To follow up the offers and policies regularly.
  • To follow up the bid profitability regularly.
  • Preparing the reports requested by the management

 

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Having good knowledge of Group Life & Accident and Group Complementary Health insurance, reinsurance and claims,
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel
  • Advanced level English
  • Having the power of analytical skills,
  • Good math and statistics skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills,
  • Good judgement skill
  •  Having experience in risk assessment and pricing,
  • Attention to details and time management skills
