MetLife Data Governance Office (MDGO)
The MetLife Data Governance Office (MDGO) is part of the Data and Analytics Organization (DnA) within GTO. Our mission is to implement an enterprise-wide model for the governance of data at MetLife to ensure consistency of usage and a high level of confidence in data driven analytics and decision-making capabilities. To achieve this, we are partnering with other Data and Analytics (DnA) teams, Technology, and our business and functional partners to build and deploy the next generation data capabilities for MetLife.
MDGO Data Governance Program Manager
We are looking for an MDGO Data Governance Program Manager with a track record of designing and implementing large and complex data governance programs on a global scale. The ideal candidate would have a solid foundation in hands-on Data Governance (DG) and Data Quality (DQ) practices, understand complexities in managing end to end data programs and in-depth knowledge of data governance and data management concepts. To be successful in this role, the candidate would require a balance of product-centric technical expertise, data governance program management from an offensive and defensive posture, and a deep knowledge of DG practices, which includes but not limited to metadata management, metamodeling, lineage documentation, data stewardship, and DQ processes. This role requires interaction with technical staff and senior business and IT partners around the world as well as peer program stakeholders (Privacy, InfoSec, ILM, etc.) This role would include engagement with multiple concurrent teams and projects.
This position will work closely with the Data Governance teams as well as other stakeholders in the US as well as globally.
