Position Summary:

The role is responsible to support critical projects for the GSS CFO’s office and Financial Assurance/PMO team. 

Role requires experience in Project management & Financial Assurance reviews with strong executive presence, reporting & story-lining acumen.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support and governance of central programs and initiatives for the GSS CFO Office
  • Governance & monitoring of key functional deliverables
  • Provide regular reports / updates on initiatives
  • Collaborate with inter/intra functional SPOCs / Project Managers to seek regular projects’ updates
  • Work with cross-functional project managers for periodic project review reports
  • Represents the Finance function to provide functional project updates in cross functional meetings
  • Tracking & reporting training needs for the finance team
  • Lead in preparing executive presentations on financial / functional performance
  • Perform Financial assurance for different processes
  • Drive Business continuity / Privacy / Risk related activities within Finance
  • Drive “employee engagement” activities within Finance


Education:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate
  • Certification in project management would be preferred


Experience:

  • 4-6 years of work experience in Project management and / or auditing


Knowledge and skills (general and technical):

  • Strong understanding of Project Management domain
  • Relevant experience in project management, Finance & Auditing
  • Knowledge of six sigma tools would be added advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Projects, MS Excel, Power-point, MS Word
  • Should have skills to analyze data and provide inputs as required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate and influence stakeholders
  • Should be capable of building and sustaining strong relationships with his / her own team, & Inter/intra functional SPOCs/stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  • Eye for detail
  • Clarity of thought with the ability to proactively identify potential risks/challenges
  • Ability to meet aggressive reporting deadlines
  • Self-disciplined and result oriented
  • High willingness to learn
