The Team You Will Join 

 

This Customer Communication Manager role sits within the UK Customer Propositions team supporting Individual Protection (IP) and Employee Benefits (EB) business lines.

 

As the UK business continues its growth trajectory and goal to cover more customers than ever before, the customer proposition team sits at the forefront of this, developing and delivering innovative propositions that support MetLife’s strategy of delivering customer and shareholder value by shaping propositions to create distribution advantage.

 

Internal collaboration is key, working with cross-functional teams, including distribution, data & AI, marketing, IT & Change and compliance to maximise alignment and ensure successful execution.

 

The Opportunity 

 

We are seeking a dynamic Customer Communication Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving digital adoption of our Adviser and Customer platforms and enhancing customer retention and loyalty. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communications professional with a passion for creating engaging and effective communications.


How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Digital Adoption: Develop and implement strategies to encourage adviser and customer adoption of our digital portals, focusing on the individual protection line of business.
  • Customer Communications: Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive customer communications programmme to enhance customer loyalty and retention across the lifetime of the customer.
  • Content Development: Create compelling and informative omni-channel content to maximise engagement
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of customer communication campaigns to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze customer data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize communication strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar designing automated trigger campaigns
  • Experience of email software platforms 
  • Proven experience in customer communications or marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree or CIM qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not required.
