The Client Services Consultant II is responsible for delivering high-quality client service and operational support for group insurance clients across the United States. Guided by our purpose—always with you building a more confident future—this role plays a critical part in strengthening client relationships, driving service excellence, and supporting the growth of MetLife’s Group Benefits business.
In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams, leading key initiatives, solving complex service challenges, and contributing to long-term client satisfaction and retention. This is an exciting opportunity to build deep industry expertise while making a meaningful impact on client outcomes and business performance.
- Lead day-to-day client service delivery, including managing client requests, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage and coordinate projects, including implementation of new products and services, while partnering with internal stakeholders
- Analyze client data and financial reports to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend plan design or service improvements
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to support relationship management, troubleshooting, and strategic planning
- Develop and deliver client presentations, reporting, and documentation, including maintaining process manuals and client-specific procedures
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in client service, account management, or group insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) to analyze data and deliver presentations
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while balancing client expectations with business capabilities
- Experience working with Group Benefits products such as Life, Disability, Dental, and/or Absence Management
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to long-term account growth
- Experience supporting client audits, reporting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Bachelor's Degree
The expected salary range for this position is $74,500 - $78,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
